An interesting question about style and substance and how the two things
interact with one another and the photographer. Perhaps it’s tougher
for a photographer to identify their own style due to the intimate
nature of it and the photographer themselves. Some things are left to
the eye of the beholder. Can style be learned? Somehow I think not.
It’s like our own definitive stamp on each production. A good thing
about style is it’s personal and exclusive or it’s copied or emulated.
With everything in the world to photograph a budding photographer has
every opportunity to develop a unique style unto themselves and enjoy
the journey doing so.
